The UNSW Medical Robotics Lab is currently looking for several PhD students to join our research group. Available research projects include:

Project 1:  Soft Wearable Devices for Haptic Display and Human Augmentation

Project 2: Advanced Flexible Surgical Robots for Gastrointestinal Cancer and Cardiovascular                        Disease Treatments

Project 3: Development of Soft Artificial Organs

Project 4: Multifunctional Soft Artificial Muscles




Prospective students with background in mechanical design, mechatronics, biomedical engineering, robotics, control systems, and soft materials with good hands-on skills please feel free to contact Dr. Do via tn.do{at}unsw.edu.au with CV including names and contacts of two academic referees and academic transcripts.

​There are several scholarships available for both domestic (within Australia) and international students such as Research Training Program (RTP) with a top-up of upto $10,000 per year for 3.5 years. Please follow the below links for deadlines, UNSW requirements, etc.
